Region 13 Devon
They are very pleased to announce that they have managed to get Julian Chidgey as their inaugural speaker.
The 27 year old Devon-based Korum consultant, who took a new personal best lure-caught fish of 32lb 14oz back in late October has caught 40 pike over 20lb in his career, 10 of which have been taken this season. So I am sure it will be a very interesting talk.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm with the talk commencing at 8.00, so please dont be late!
There will be a small admission charge of £1.50 for P.A.C. members and £2.50 for non-members.
Please come along and support this new region, and enjoy what should be a great evening.

His talk will take us from his early days in the Darenth valley to his fishing today, centered around the River Severn near his new home in Tewkesbury. Along the way Chris has been Marketing Director in charge of Product Development for some of the major tackle companies including Masterline and Ryobi, and will be explaining his involvement in the development of some of the items and lures that we take for granted as pikers today....all in all I think will be a very interesting talk and a bit of a blast from the past for some of the older region members

Marie Curie Predator Cup 2009
The fishing will be from 9am until 3pm, with the draw taking place at the Ely Beet Sports and Social Club from 7am onwards. There will of course be a raffle on the day and anglers will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets on the bank from the Marie Curie team.
It is likely that the number of anglers taking part will be restricted to no more than 120 so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. For more information please contact Nicky Hastler of Marie Curie Cancer Care by e mail at nicola.hastler@mariecurie.org.
Over the last 7 years the efforts of the anglers taking part have made a real difference to those whose lives are affected by cancer. In that time over £15,000 has been raised to help people who are less fortunate than us and we aim to continue that good work at this years event. Your efforts are really appreciated and I look forward to seeing old friends and new acquaintances alike in November.
